We see this story all the time, not just within the Isagenix® community but in societies all around the world. The story about mothers who give up almost everything to put their children and family ahead of themselves, but sometimes that isn’t always the best thing to do.
After the birth of her second child, 2018 IsaBody Challenge® Finalist Amy Bushell unknowingly let herself go. She fell out of love with the fit, healthy body she once had, with which she entered in a fitness competition three years earlier.
Eager to prove to her two kids that dreams do come true, Amy lost 8 kg during her 16-week IsaBody Challenge. “Even though my before and after photos look wonderful, what people don’t see is the transformation of my mindset.”
To overcome her physical and mental challenges, Amy called upon her Isagenix team, the IsaBody Challenge community as well as her own online ‘Warrior Women’ community to help overcome her obstacles and power towards her goal.
The Queenslander knows just how important it is to be a good role model, which is why she’s made it her mission to help mums be the healthiest versions of themselves, so they can become the best mum they can.
“Isagenix allows you to put yourself first in a very unselfish and healthy way,” Amy says. “All the time I used to spend preparing, cooking meals and grocery shopping I now get to spend with my children, because within seconds I can make an IsaLean Shake to keep me going.”
As someone who used to build her business and train on her own, Amy has learned just how incredible is it to be surrounded by other women who are all supportive, without any hostility or negativity.
“It does seem natural for women to band with other women because it’s what we can relate to,” she says. “I do really enjoy the ‘one team’ concept of men and women, but I’m also a big believer in ‘bae supporting bae’.”
Amy is well on her way to helping women – particularly mothers – realise their potential as both parents and women. In the meantime she’s successfully showing her children the importance of living a fulfilling and healthy life.
